In-Home Lactation Consultation
For families who want hands-on support with breastfeeding or infant feeding challenges.
This comprehensive consultation is ideal for latch or positioning challenges, milk production concerns, weight gain concerns, pumping, getting baby back to the breast, supplementation, tongue and lip ties, or simply checking that breastfeeding is going well.
Initial consultation includes:

A review of your pre-submitted intake form, including your and your baby's health and feeding history

A breast/chest exam

An assessment of your baby's oral anatomy and oral-motor function

Pumping and flange fitting, as needed
-
A functional assessment of breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding

Weight check and weighted feeding to assess milk transfer
-
A written care plan with resources
-
Referrals to additional care providers, when needed

2 weeks of support through a secure patient portal following the initial visit for questions, updates, and troubleshooting current care plan
Initial consultation - 90 minutes: $365 ($425 for twins)
Follow-Up Lactation Consultation
For families who have already had a consultation with me for their current baby and need continued support.
Feeding doesn't always change overnight. A follow-up gives us time to see what's working, troubleshoot what's not, and adjust the plan as your baby grows and your needs change.
2 weeks of support through a secure patient portal following the follow up visit for questions, updates, and troubleshooting current care plan
Follow-Up Visit - 75 min : $325 ($375 for twins)
Back to Work/School Consultation
For parents who want support with pumping, bottle feeding, and creating a feeding plan that works when returning to work.

Prenatal Consultation
For expectant parents who want to feel prepared for breastfeeding and infant feeding before their baby arrives.
This consultation includes:

Review of your pre-submitted intake form, health and feeding (if applicable) history and feeding goals

What to expect during the first days of breastfeeding

Positioning and latch basics

Early feeding cues and normal newborn feeding behavior

Hand expression

Common early breastfeeding challenges and what to do if they come up

Time to answer your questions and make a plan for the early days

I strongly encourage your support person to join us so you can build your village together.

Online lactation support consultations
are available for prenatal classes, back to work and weaning
Payment is due upon service.
You may pay by cash or check or HSA credit card.

In-home visits within 15 miles of Cambrian, San Jose. Virtual sessions available anywhere.
For any location that is outside of the 15 miles radius (but within the service area listed below) I will collect a $25 convenience fee that is not covered by insurance.
Milpitas and Morgan Hill appointments include an additional convenience fee not covered by insurance. Please contact me before scheduling.
